Alternatives to Touch of Death?

Well, I also suggest an alternative. (though it's not as versatile as ToD,
but I've come to like this kiho in certain decks.
Hitsu-do
A kiho which bows and destroy your monk or shugenja to kill off an opposing
personality in the battle with lower or equal chi.

dragon personalities who effectively use this.

Mitsu = 7 chi
done with your iaijutsu duels, since he will be bowed shortly after, might
as well put him to some good use. Besides, there's only 1 personality out of
the entire game that can withstand Mitsu's wrath, The emerald champion
himself, "the grey crane" (note, standard personality not the ones who have
been "enhanced")

Tamori =5 chi
it's a kiho, he gets the bonus.

Also, the 4 focus value of the card is also benefical if you are playing a
dueling deck.
