"Coming out of Retirement" is a little to strong for me; after all, I was
receiving gemmpuku about the time you were learning to like solid food ;)
I just don't see how I can maintain the the "monkly" lifestyle, especially
with such a beautiful wife around!!!

Actually joining the clan Dragon? I was never offered the opportunity.
After my tenure of service to Kitsuki Takeda and the Emerald Magistrates
was completed I returned to the lands of the Phoenix.  Even with the
"honor" I had acrued, they couldn't see past my -adopted- status.  So,
when Takeda offered me the chance to retire to the mountains, I took it.

Now then, Magistrate?  that's something I haven't been called in years...
You don't suppose the fellow, Toshiken, would be willing to reinstate my
writ, do you?
