The modern Japanese people like rock and a bit of pop. Usually they mix rock
and dance/techno together. Some of it is pretty good. Also, the Japanese are
big on American music. Mariah Carey and Madonna are huge over there. Asian
rap is... really bad. Not because of style, just that the language itself is
hard to follow rap rhythm. Chinese rap sounds terrible! Japanese aren't much
better. However, Korean rap is actually pretty good. By the way, you'll be
surprised about how much English is used in Japanese music. Can't find that
right rhyme in Japanese? Just use English and make it flow with the Japanese!
This gives them two languages to work with. Also, this make Japanese lyrics
easier to pick up since we can use the English in it to keep up.
