Firstly, you're right, the chances of this getting Ree's attention
are pretty small - and the chances of this having a noticable
influence on the storyline are smaller. Do it primarily to tell a
good tale. If the fortunes smile upon you, something more might come
of it.

Think about writing an IC letter to Hoshi to kick it off. You might
also send that to AEG, just to let them know you're trying something
a bit bigger than the usual fanfic. Then again, Ree used to lurk
here, and probably still does. (1)

Hida Okami - you're on the Crab list I presume. The whole Crab/Crane
tear thing went down pretty well (2). Seeing as Kokujin's off in the
Shadowlands, any Dragon expedition will be passing through the Crab
lands. You could possibly crosspost some stuff to the Crab list (and
maybe the Scorpion list).

My character (when I bother posting IC, which I rarely do) isn't
going (3), but I'd be interested to read and comment on whatever you
come up with.

1: On the topic of Ree and the AEG staff...where the hell are they? I
haven't seen Marcello or Ree on l5rrpginfo in months...not since
GenCon. Anybody know what's up?
2: Apart from annoying a Crab friend of mine, 'cos the Crab list were
far too polite to the wussy Cranes.
3: Kitsuki Hamesu. Hmm...I'd better finish off Virtues of the Dragon
Part V. It's almost over...
