As far as "official" goes, I'm as "official" as the Crab will get.  I don't presume the authority to make decisions on behalf of the Crab, but I see my stay here as helping to bring our two great Clans closer.  Nobody nominated me, but nobody's complaining either, so I guess you're stuck with me :)
