AFAIK, both versions have the Dragon Clan trait on them.  It is possible that a previous printing may not have.  Regardless, of course, he has the Shadowlands trait, a reprehensible ability, and is an all around despicable character.  I'd almost rather sleep with an Oni.  Almost.
