That's why my current tourney deck is a THC.  No
Samurai for several of their nasty tricks to target. 
No honor requirements for me to worry about right off.
 Even the Champion has no honor requirement.  I've had
people concede when she hits the table in turn 3 or 4
and I was at -12 or so honor.  (they knew that not
defending would cost them a prov, and defending would
cost them one of their lynchpins)
For Mirumoto, the new Togashi shuggy, Daini, and Uso
should keep your head above water.  They won't always,
but they can help.
