Whoa, whoa whoa my Brother, I did not mean to offend, and I am sorry if I
did. Now let's look at a few of your statements...

The Shadowlands Civil War is to give honor to the epic struggles of the #1
and #2 ranked Shadowlands CCG players. Apparently they have had some epic
knock down drag out encounters.
Ree corrupted the Lion when only a few people
>used any corruption.
30 to 40% of the Lion decks at 98(?) Gencon were corrupted. Then David La
wins the whole thing with a horriblely corrupted Lion deck. To add icing to
the cake though, apparently he alomost lost in the semis just to wait until
he could get Akuma out. He was bent on sending a message to Ree. Don't
blame her because she got it.
One thing you can't forget is
>that Ree is above the Emperor, she is above the kamis
>she is above even the old Lord Moon, the new Lady
>Moon, and Lady Sun. The only people Ree doens't have
>control over is WotC and all they care about is how

Ree is above all, but in my opinion she does her best to listen to us, the
players. In my NOT SO humble opinion she takes tons of grief for trying her
hardest to make the story player accessible. Many of the story elements
have a player related reason, they are just not always very obvious. Some
story elements are strictly her idea, but that is her job. As for WotC, I
have nothing nice to say. And yes wars are exciting :).

Again see above. I do not think Ree would smack us to make some whinning
players happy. Besides as Josh has noted we already basically had a civil
War with Hoshi vs. Hitomi. Personally it just saddens me that Ree gets so
much flack for all her efforts. I do not mean this against you, just in
general.
I have played since the beginning watching how this game has developed, and
I just think the interaction is awesome. This game started as a linear
creator controled storyline. It has grown to include listserves, numerous
storyline tourneys, Clan War storyline tourneys and yet people complain.
Like I said this is not directed at anyone in particular, I just think we
should be grateful for what we have. And if you don't like it check out
your alternatives, soul-less M:TG, fuzzy Pokeman, or collect the rare/don't
play Star Wars. Sorry about the soap box there... <steps down>. Falmes can
be personal or public you choice :(.
Take care.
