Well I am not the resident Ise-zumi expert, but here is my take. Both the
Hoshi and the Hitomi were Ise-zumi. This split resulted when Yokuni's
spirit went to Hitomi, and his blood to Hoshi. Based on the conflict Hitomi
and Hoshi each created their version of Ise-zumi. Notice Hitomi's ability
with force and battle, and Hoshi's ability with Kihos.
They were two branches of the same family, the Togashi family. Now that the
hostility has ended, thye two branches are one again, and therefore will be
called Togashi again. Well looking back at this, I am not sure this helps,
but hey I tried.
Take care,
Rob- Mirumoto Shokan
