[HDM] Fire and Shadow PreRelease

I played in the Fire and Shadow Prerelease on Saturday, March 11.  I think the tournament organizers were nice to me and let me have a Dragon starter because they knew I was the only Dragon player there... ;-)

My deck rocked!  I had 14 money, 14 personalities (none from my 2 boosters, but I later traded for Bujun, Jodome, and the new Kitsuki).  I had a good mix of followers, a couple of duels, 2 superior tactics, and the awesome "Wounded in Battle" that won one game for me against a Fox player.

I went 5-0, but only managed to place 3rd because they changed their mind and didn't hold finals, but decided rankings by points.  Since the computer software had done the pairings, I hadn't played the 2 guys who placed 1st and second.  I never played an undefeated player after the 1st round???  Therefore, since my strength of schedule was weak, I had 12 points to tie for 2nd, but 46% opponent win percentage to the other guy's 60%.  It was really an anticlimactic finish (especially since one of the other players was convinced that I was the only 5-0 at the tourney).

I can't wait work with the new personalities, but unfortunately, business will take me away for a while....
