Burning Your Essence? Why does everyone else get the good foils?

I pulled a foil Trade Route (or whatever that crappy 8G holding that gets
+2 production from Marketplaces), which I promptly traded, along with a
Ikoma Gunjin XP -- a great personality who won me a game w/ Test of Might
(we ran out of the starters an I had to play Crab) and Soul's Sacrifice
-- for a (Dragon-backed) Jodome and one of those rare HB scorpion fellas.
I also saw an Oni No Kamu pulled by a Fox player -- they finally MRP his
name correctly.
