	My brethren,

	I'm very tired, and still sort of woozy from *four hours* of academy 
awards, so I apologize if this post comes out tactless or otherwise overly 
blunt.
	Here's my take on this issue:

	During the first story arc, Phoenix won *many* tournaments using corrupt 
decks.  The Jade and Pearl Phoenix starters were their reward.
	The Unicorn won Morikage with lots of Kolat.  Shinjo's purge of the Clan 
was their reward.
	The Lion won GenCon 1998 with Oni no Akuma.  The Kitsu Tombs and Oni no 
Okura were their reward.
	The HDM drew a rigid line in the sand, excluding anything evil or corrupt.  
Hitomi Iyojin, Hitomi Dajan, Hitomi Nakuso, Hitomi Kagetora, and Hitomi 
Bujun are our reward.
	Frankly, I don't think simply winning tournaments is worth risking the kind 
of storyline retribution suffered by Clans who have chosen the dark path.
