I guess I wouldn't support the Horde >as a Dragon< but I would as a player.
I know some very nice Horde players. It might be fun having to fight against
a tainted EC. But I wouldn't want the Dragon to be supporting such a choice.

Perhaps. I think the Unicorn might be the best shot, although the Crane have
possibilities too, but the bitter feelings of 1998 towards the Crane are
still strong. The Unicorn's day in the sun was really short and was ended by
DJH and the overlay rule, which stopped them from getting first turn exp. 2
or exp. 3 Kamoko.
The Crab and the Lion aren't really any stronger than the Dragon and
Scorpion, although we'll have to see what happens to the Crab with "Poorly
Placed Garden." Taka Honor Runners might go through the roof.
I guess my first choice would be Dragon or Scorpion, with Unicorn and Crab as
strong possibilities. The Crab would certainly be an interesting choice and
I certainly respect Crab players enough to help them.

I agree. That should be our plan.

Yup.
Of course we all know what happened the last time that the Scorpion tried to
help the Dragon win the Test of the Emerald Champion. Hitomi got the
Obsidian Hand. Now it was a good thing she did, but we didn't know that at
the time.

Agreed. The Scorpion owe us nothing and "keeping score" serves no purpose.
If they support us, they should do so because that is what is best for the
Empire.
