things were going well so lets focus again

outside of open phoenix arent as amazing as in
but... compared to the rest of us they still are amazing and have been
winning everything tournament wise(pretty much)

test of the emerald champion is coming up
we dont want phoenix to win right? (this is right?)
phoenix are to be our enemies in gold and even as they win stuff before
theyre getting it _in_ gold
so how do we stop it...

people have suggested we lend support for another clan in their claim, how
can we do this? will it mean we will have to play that clan? or can we still
play dragon but claim it to be a victory of clan X? of course by that
extension we could play phoenix and give that victory to the dragon clan so
that doesnt sound reasonable.... perhaps if we proposed and passed with with
wotc...

we can get support for our clan from others.... problems are similiar to the
previous case in _how_ can this be implemented.

another problem is the potential of people going "look the dragon are trying
to change the storyline again, boo hoo"

we become amazingly broken within the next few minutes... theoretically its
possible we could build our strongest types of decks with a set of changes
depending on card base and preference, posted and edited and remade till
everyone was happy then let people see what they can do with those types of
decks... perhaps with cards loaned where needed...... we win everything

we all design decks specifically to beat phoenix *gulp* such that we become
the iris festival for phoenix, pack everything that metagames against
phoenix and theyre main strategies and then figure out some way to win on
top of that.

ideas?
