Greetings, Kitsuki-san.

I am merely writing to point out some facts which you likely already
are aware of. First, Mirumoto's "Niten" is not a weapon. Thus, the
personality to whom it is attached may attach (another) two weapons.
Second, Togashi-sama's Daisho is likewise not a weapon. Even more
vicious. Assuming the Championship (if you do not already have a Clan
Champion out) can make your personality with the highest Chi have the
Clan Champion trait (who then may attach Lord Togashi's Daisho for free).
These are things which I'd not noticed until I'd put them into my Yodin
Sensei failiure of a deck. Additionally, Mirumoto Taki experienced is fun
to slap two Masamune Katanas on for free. There is a lot of ways in which
we can play with weapons. They're not very cost-effective or competetive,
but it was a lot of fun to see Hitomi exp2 with the "Niten," Togashi's
Daisho, a Masamune Katana, plus the Sword of the Sun. Sukune with
Honourable and Bitter is also scary.

Now, to the second half of this note. After playing my Yodin
Sensei/Kyuden Hitomi deck against a variety of decks and opponents, I
have dismantled it. This, to some extent, makes me look like a quitter,
although that is hardly true. No quitter could ever choose Dragon (sic).
The deck was very poor. An honour-running duelist using Toshimoko Sensei
and the Monkey Clan stronghold destroyed me militarily three times. A
Noble Halls of the Lion deck using Akodo Sensei had no troubles against
me. The only decks that my sensei actually affected were a Ratling/Crab
and a Kitsune. I trounced a ninja deck a few times, but the Dragonfly
Tattoo will do that.

The sensei is supposed to slow down my opponent. It worked ... but I
was too slow, too. As I was building the deck, I threw in a lot of
dueling cards, as all of those big people with nasty (but slow/expensive)
weapons would have done extremely well in duels. But my sensei prevented
me from targetting others' personalities with card actions. I threw out
all of the duel cards. I also could not use any ranged attacks (that's a
card action), or any other personality abilities which did anything to an
opponent's personalities.

Other than hoping to slow down the other guy to the point where I can
afford big personalities (which is only effective against certain deck
archetypes), how is this sensei supposed to help me?

At this point, I am going to go back through my archives and look for
what seems to be a decent enlightenment decklist from you guys. I'll
build that, and see how I can tune it, though it irks me quite a bit to
copy somebody else's decklist.

Any advice would be great, and your previous responses have been
interesting and helpful.

   Thank you, my brothers.

Dragon Clan Ratling Duelist * Tattooed * Double Chi * Samurai
Togashi Rik'Chk'Chok'Tak'Tik'Chuk'Tok'Tak'Tik'Tik'Tik may attach two
weapons.
While Togashi Rik'Chk'Chok'Tak'Tik'Chuk'Tok'Tak'Tik'Tik'Tik has two
weapons
attached, all of his Focus cards have their values increased by one.
