I think so--although perhaps I would give it a caveat emptor warning. There seems to be a logical difference between Ninja Thief or Toturi is Drugged and Face of the Nameless or most non-Scorpion Ninja personalities.  
  
I don't know anyway to put it at this point, since I haven't been studying the Gold lists. But just as our alliance with the Scorpion means we have to keep our eyes open and our guard up, we need to do the same with any ninja cards we use.

Just an observation from an out-of-clan listwhore with a spotty memory :) ....

In one of her stories, I forget which one, Ree had Doji shizue state, and I'm paraphrasing, that the one thing she knew would always be true is that there would always be Goju in the Shadowlands.

now, with Paul Timm not in the picture and the game going back to AEG, i would expect the new story team to refer to Ree for background, etc.  because there's nothing like having the source there.

At some point the Ninja or Goju may come up, and while the Goju may not be "Shadow" anymore, I would expect that any remaining there would be a corrupting influence.  I would further think that the first clan to take vengence upon would be the Scorpion, after all Kachiko named them. 

The easiest place for the Goju to come back would be through the Scorpion ninja.  Is this a great possibility?  No.  I put it on the realm of the far-out-there but not impossible.  Especially with the game going back to AEG.  Granted, I don't think they would ever be a starter clan again, but a corrupting influence-yeah.

I would take Josh's warning to heart with the Gold edition.  The ninja in Gold and Alpha are probably the okay type, but after that I'd really start looking at the ninja that come out.
