Deeds, Not Words
May be played against an opponent if you cannot cause your opponent honor
losses. [JA, 9 July 2000]
The reason for this is that (I think, anyway) a Spawning Grounds player
cannot take actions that cause unconditional honor losses. The Shadowlands
can use Iaijutsu Challenge, because the 7 point honor loss is conditional on
the refusal of accepting the duel. Deeds, Not Words is also
conditional...the player targeted by it is never forced to bring in
personalities at full cost, or make any other type of honor gain, if they
don't want to.
But that's just me.
