Greetings.....

I've been around on this list long enough to see decks posted here and
there....
strictly honor running.. dragon military...... enlightenment even....
I just wanted to asked you guys about some cards i barely see in use, although
some may seem good to me, and i call them "cheapshots". Maybe after this
talk, 
we should be able to create an allout "cheap" deck.... something worse than
a pre-release deck... =)

Beginning and End (Kiho)
- Bow one of your shugenja's or monks, who may remained bowed,
  while remains bowed, increase your handsize by one. (something like that)
- at shiryo Mirumoto, it seems to be a great help in having extra cards during
  an opponents turn (as proven by tamori hiroko). although bowing a
personality
  and letting it do nothing seems a major bummer, i think it's better that the
  personality does something worthwhile than just hang around drinking sake
  in the fief.... but then again.... i think this is most useful for
defensive honor
  runners...

Power (open action card, 3 focus value)
  - give +2f +2c to a personality with more than four chi...
  - the way shiro mirumoto goes around..... you can see a lot of guys with
high chi...
    especially with that masume wakizashi (+2c weapon for free).....
(fortress, ki rin.etc...)
    with all those cards in hand.... placing some of these could
work.....best used
    for a military duelling dragon...... 

Tsudao's challenge...(in battle, terrain, total chi instead of force)
   - I see some decks with this..... but i'm not really sure... it's best
for military i think...
     dueling needs high focus values as you all know... but i thought about
it a little....
     dragon tattoo.. hhmmm.. plus 3 chi (tatooed guyz)..... 
     masume wakizashi (for samurai).. plus 2 chi... hhmm...
     fortress, or ki-rin, plus 1 or more chi.... hmmm.... do you really
need to focus?...
     most players just strike, or seppuku if they know they are down..... 

Thunder of the Earth (terran plus two force to all shugenja, -2c
permanently later)
    - Gold legal ... dragon personalities.... a lot of high chi-shugenja
out there.... and as i 
      mentioned earlier... a lot of chi boosters too...2F is not bad if it
gets you out of a tight
      spot...... military kiho.. something like that... there are a lot of
good kiho's out there...
      like power of nothing....kharmic unison...

Breaking Concentration (spell....can't strike unless focus)
    - it's not really good for me... but just like to let you know that it
could be useful...
      in making players discard cards....

The thing is.... with the proper cards.... if you wanna duel, u can,
without having high
focus values............ (i think, although i've never done this... i lack
most of the cards..
so i haven't tried it myself....)

it could be a terrain deck...
and you can enjoy those...... come one at a time... and stuff above......
well, at least
it's another angel to explore......... it may.. or it may not
work.....place a lot of
boner cards or cards which your opponent woudn't expect to have .... arrows
from
the woods, to do what me must (who says their only for cranes??)

in the past, i've done decks like these... although i don't win much.... i
get a lot of fun
playing it..... and the best part of it is... if you win.. it's a big slap
on your opponent
..... losing to a senseless deck..... =)
