I agree with the first, and completely disagree with the second. I will
take my duel support for free thankyouverymuch :).
Actually I had a interesting experience with the Blade of Truths in the tournament. I gave it to Tsuge and I Challenged an opposing personality. Myopponent was also playing Dragon (honor/military) and he immediately accepted and went to focus. I reminded him of the sword's power and called 4 focus. He sighed and called strike giving me five honor. His hand was filled with 4 focus value cards so, in this case, having a high value hand worked to his disadvantage. It's a neat way to use the Blade I had not considered before. Punish players who as obsessed with having as much 4 focus values as they can in the deck.
It was a great experience. A Crab player swore that, for once, Dragon (Me) would not win. We drew each other in the first round and he continously cursed his friend for talking him into removing his Kharmic Strikes. Another player told him "Hey, you knew Dave was going to be here so you should have known there would be dueling." It is nice to be remembered. ;)
Still I have to say that he is a honorable opponent and playing him is always fun. He also took the time to teach a friend of mine who is starting to play more than several tricks to playing Crab.
I have always said as long as we all discuss politely we will all come out
of it better off for it in the end :).
The Dragon vs. Dragon match we had was won basically by the Gold Scheme. He was using Small/Large Farms. He got out the Ki-Rin's and a couple important Unique people out first but I was speeding through my deck gaining a lot of honor every turn and managed to out honor him without the use of any Wind's or Deeds (all in the bottom of the deck... along with my Walkings... Grrr...).
Also, I would like to add that the Wave Tattoo is great. It helps out my deck immensly especially in the beginning of the game. I used to use two but now I might go up to three.
