     I am here to remind those who have lost the way (or are tempted to d=

so) of one simple,
powerful truth.

     Those who corrupt their Clan by using the Shadowlands in  their deck=

are traitors to their Clan.
There is no justification, no clever sophistry that can change this.

     The Shadowlands are the enemy of everything the Empire of Rokugan=20
stands for.  There can be no
Honor for those who reach for glory blindly, caring not that they damn th=
eir=20
own Clan in the process.

     Whether the Shadowlands or the False Scorpion win the day at GenCon=20
this evening, the Empire has
been dealt a grevious injury.  Should the traitorous Scorpion prevail, I =
ask=20
my brothers in the most loyal of all Clans:  Refuse to acknowledge this=20
traitor as a true Scorpion!   Remember your oaths to your Champion Yojiro=

and remember that those who consider their own power as more vital than=20
their loyalty have earned nothing but a place in Traitor's Grove.

     Refuse the temptaions of evil, or you refuse Honor itself.

     WIthout Honor, you are no true member of your Clan.  You are no true=

citizen of the Empire.  You
are nothing.

     If we band together against the one true eternal enemy, we can still=

prevail.
