Well, yeah.  I assume it's also not canon that Toku gets eaten by Onis 
often, since AFAIK he's still alive, or at least died old.  I just thought 
it was an amusing image, to have Toku suggesting an alliance with the 
Shadowlands unaware that there's an Oni getting ready to eat him.
