[dragon] Why choose Tamori?

Just trying to catch up on some of the mail while at a friends (still not home :) ).

You should read my comments again, no where did I say it was an easy choice, in fact the entire point of all the clan
choices was that they were all difficult. Dragon players dicussed the matter at length and the majority seemed to favour
a temporary alliance with the dark oracle, very few instantly knew which way to go once discussion started.

Again I urge you to reread my comments, there was no justification why there was no choice, rather rational behind
why there was _a_ choice. That it was dicussed at length points out that the decision was not an easy one to come to, a
choice was proposed, dicussed and decided.

Now thats out of line Rob and you know it. You make it sound like
a) I lied to you saying Crush Tamori
b) I had the final choice on the matter and
c) well actually I've no idea what you mean by that last bit.

If you look over my comments in private you'll notice I first jokingly said 'Join with Tamori' and only switched to the
'crush tamori' option after you threatened to kill me. As with Jon I had initially been firmly set on the attack Tamori
option, but when it came to the crunch and decisions had to be made and discussed I was forced to recognise the merits
anf flaws of both choices. In fact if you still have a 100% definite decision of which choice to make you should have a
look ove all the other clan choices and start wondering why all the rest aren't so crystal clear.
 Also I didn't make the decision, hell if I had it to make I don't know which way I would have gone. All I ever did was
point out the merits of the options, had another voice like you or Paul managed to make Gencon UK it might have gona all
different as Bruno was having difficults with the language and Michael refused to even tolerate a discussion over the
option (which was a shame because he's a damned cool guy and in dicussing the dark option I totally alienated him
*sigh*). When it came down to it and a vote was called for I abstained, I don't know which way I would have gone because
I see the merits with both options. If you want to feel betrayed that I didn't push for the attack Tamori option please
remember that every other dragon player who didn't turn up also didn't push for the attack on Tamori.
Should you read over my comments as posted by Zembu-san you'll notice that while I may have been cheering the choice I
still had no idea whether it was the right on or not and was fully aware of how bad the choice made was.

There has been a lot of passion floating around the list in the past while, but this mail especially took my notice as I
don't like to see friends feeling betrayed.

Shiryu-san has posted a poll on dragonstrategy to judge the feeling on the choice, currently it's very close but I
wonder how bias the normal readers of dragonstrategy might be so would urge people to wander by
