Greetings,
Imp Ed had just come out. A few of my good friends started playing and I=
=20
decided to try it. I remember reading the backs of all the Clans and lov=
ing=20
the Dragon, the Crab, and liking the Phoenix. Try as I might, I just cou=
ld=20
not envision myself as a crustecean(sp) however ;). So I picked up the=20
Phoenix and Dragon starters, re-read the info, and decided I couldn't go=20
with Orange :P!! Don't you love how these important decisions were made=20
;p???
Dragon it was, and inside that very box was Togashi Yokuni. I had been=20
chosen.
Now for those of you not around since day one, you might not know that L5=
R=20
had some struggles getting started. I was still buying cards but barely,=
=20
and not playing much at all. I went to Gateway Con in LA for a type I Ma=
gic=20
tourney. I saw Dave Williams there (Dave and I already knew each other v=
ery=20
well based on me stopping by Alderac to bug them :)). He asked if I was=20
still playing, and I said only a little. He gave me the two new starters=
,=20
TA and the Horde. He also told me the Faction I had inspired, The=20
Brotherhood, would be out next expansion.
I was very intrigued, so I opend the cards right there in front of Dave. =
=20
Guess who showed up? Togashi Yokuni exp was in my TA starter. He was=20
reminding me that I was chosen. I have never wavered since then.
Take care,
Rob- Mirumoto Shokan
