Oh these are fair enough points. I was just trying to get a feel for the
deck before I tried it out. There is no aspersion to KC or his skill (like
he said results speak for themselves). I was just wondering about some
things and wanted to see his point of view:). Sorry if anyone thought I was
disparraging, I was just trying to get the feel of something that obviously
>You do not *know* anything about this deck. You are assuming you would get
>creamed becasue at first glance this deck looks like a bunch of crap throw
>together. I know this assumption, because it was my first assumption.
>I have now played this deck over 16 times at tournaments and Zembu-san has
>also played this deck. It is "tricky" in the toughest way, but oh is it
>sweet. I pretty much promise you that you will get blown out one game in
>the swiss due to the delicate balance of the Fate side. But the rest of
>the time, while this deck is purring along... >8}.
>Now I do not mean to be harsh, but you have to understand this is the deck
>that won the ningy thingy. Also understand KC-Gyofuku ;), was top Dragon
>at GenCon 2001. I personally call this deck the welcome to the next level.
>Getting an idea how this type of deck works give you some idea what the
>guys who win the big events do to decks. It is tough, but try it before
>you speak ill, and trust me to really work, you will have to try it a lot
>to understand how to get the most out of it. I personally am a Campsite
>afficinado and it took me about 8 games to clue in. Now I play this deck
>and do well and have tons more fun it than my normal deck.
>I still have to convince KC that simple math and TG are more reliable than
>his *amazing* SFx3/LFx1 scheme, but if KC got that he might dominate the
>world, and that would be truly scary ;p!!
